Monkey Brains, Gogos & Glimmer Body Art... Oh My!

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the GBK Productions Gift suite for the 2011 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles. I brought my son, Felix, since it was loaded with kids' stuff! The suite was at the SLS Hotel in LA, and stars like Paula Abdul, Molly Ringwald, LaToya Jackson with Michael's kids, and Aubrey O'Day attended this kiddie heaven. Some of the cool gifts given out were wooden headphones from Ematic, Townley Cosmetics, candy wrapper purses by Nahui Ollin, Monkey Brains hair care line, and Mobo Cruisers.

My favorites were the Glimmer Body Art station, which put a cool glitter "kitty paw" on my hand. It lasted days! Also, the cutest, whimsical dessert jewelry called Gimme Some Sugar. They had a dollhouse full of goodies! My other favorite was the Gogo's Crazy Bones Collection. As a fan of Kidrobot and collectible toys, these miniature figurines were just the right amount of unique and cool. Felix and I were actually fighting over which ones I could keep. I was hoping to turn one into a necklace, but I think the child got his way when he started to pull my hair. Ack! I guess I'll back off from the Gogo's for now.
